• Experience Level: Your meditation experience (just starting, some experience, regular practice)
• Time Preference: Your preferred meditation time (morning, afternoon, evening, anytime)

Wellness Data:

• Mood Check-ins: Daily mood entries including feelings, motivation, stress levels, and energy
• Session History: Records of completed meditations, affirmations, and sleep stories
• Progress Data: XP, levels, streaks, achievements, and listening statistics
• Playlist Data: Custom sequences you create

Automatically Collected Information

Usage Data:

• Audio playback statistics (duration listened, completion percentage)
• Session timestamps and frequency
• Feature usage patterns (which meditations, affirmations, or sleep stories you listen to)

How We Store Your Information

Local Storage (AsyncStorage)

All personal data is currently stored locally on your device using React Native's AsyncStorage system:

• User name and onboarding preferences
• Mood check-in history
• Session history and progress
• Achievements and statistics
• Playlist data
• Streak information

Important: Data stored locally on your device is not automatically backed up. If you delete the app or switch devices, your progress will be lost unless future cloud sync features are implemented.

Cloud Storage (Firebase)

Firebase Storage is used exclusively for hosting audio content:

• Meditation audio files
• Affirmation audio files
• Sleep story audio files
• Ambient sound files

We do NOT currently store personal data in Firebase. All user data remains on your device.

Data Retention

• Local data persists until you delete the app or manually reset progress
• Firebase audio files are stored indefinitely for app functionality
• Mood history and session logs are retained locally unless manually deleted

We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google LLC):

Your Privacy Rights

1. Access Your Data: All your data is accessible within the app (Profile screen, Mood history)
2. Delete Your Data: Use the "Reset All Data" button in Profile settings to delete all local data
3. Export Your Data: Currently not supported (may be added in future updates)
4. Opt-Out: You can choose not to provide optional information (e.g., skip mood check-ins)

How to Delete Your Data

To completely remove all personal data:

1. Open DriftMind app
2. Navigate to Profile tab
3. Scroll to bottom and tap "Reset All Data"
4. Confirm deletion
5. Uninstall the app

This will permanently delete all locally stored data including your name, preferences, mood history, progress, achievements, and playlists.

Children's Privacy

DriftMind is not intended for use by children under the age of 4. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 4. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us to have it removed.

DriftMind is NOT a medical app and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

• This app provides meditation, mindfulness, and relaxation content for general wellness
